Hiking

On Tenerife there are two very unequally mountain ranges: The Anaga mountains are very green and a great variety of species lives there. The Teno mountains are more rocky and sunny. All of them come up with numerous sign-posed hiking trails. Other impressing trails that are closer to T3 are the Barranco del Infierno (opened only in summer if there’s no rain) and Masca. If you’re more into forests, we recommend some walk in the La Esperanza forest.

Road trips

If you prefer to drive around have a look at the official tourism website to discover the most beautiful parts of the island. From Vilaflor through the Corona Forestal to La Laguna. From Punte de Hidalgo through Puerto de la Cruz to Buenavista and Punta del Teno. From Masca through Los Gigantes to Playa San Juan.

Rock climbing

Tenerife offers you about 500 rock climbing routesat any rock type – most of them located in the south of the island. With its perfect climate you can climb year round. If you don’t want to bring your material, you can rent it at in Granadilla.

Paragliding 

Due to its landscape with a lot of mountains and the coastline Tenerife comes up with perfect conditions for paragliding. If you’re motivated to see our planet in bird view contact any of the numerous experienced paragliding schools. It’s an unforgettable experience.

El Teide national park

Discover that naturally conserved space that was named Unesco World heritage. There you’ll find the highest peak of Spain, the Teide, 3,718m high. Ask for your permit here and ascend with the cable car or climb the impressive hiking trail. Don’t miss the visitors’ centers that provide you with any information needed.
